IISTL

In the GCPodcast's second episode, Riley and Mary speak with Blake Hamilton of the International Institute of St. Louis (IISTL), a local refugee resettlement and support agency. They tackle the impact of our refugee community here in St. Louis and across the country, in addition to breaking down misconceptions that exist about what it means to arrive as a refugee and what the process looks like in the United States. Finally, they discuss the roles and responsibilities of the IISTL in the resettlement process and how listeners can get involved.
